Tuesday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Ya ‘Ya High-Fi rains down another Tuesday night of vinyl adventures with DJ Marcelinho da Lua on the turntables spinning jazz, samba, swing, funk and rare groove.

Da Lu’s vinyl collection has been lovingly pieced together from his travels around the globe and acquired through record stores, bookstores, sidewalks, friendships and professional trades. He told The Rio Times, “I decided to throw this party in order to share my collection that has been built over the last twenty years. It’s a tribute to the guys who ‘dig’ for music, because searching for vinyl is a devotion, a bible with faithful disciples.” Marcelinho, we salute you.
