Saturday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Casa da Matriz gears up to rock the night away with Rockaway, the hit party that plays the best of rock and metal from the Sixties and Seventies up to today.
Rock has a place in the hearts of many, but tonight is also a great opportunity to revel in metal. Located at Casa da Matriz, one of Rio’s oldest and funnest venues, Rockaway will feature two floors of headbanging good times. DJs Polly, Grazzia, and Ivy are set to play decades of hits from psychedelic, punk, new wave, synth, grunge, metal and pop-rock. Upstairs DJs Arlei and Toni Bigode command the floor with Eighties hits and classics.

Festa Ploc 80’s (Lapa)
After the huge success of Festa Ploc’s nine year anniversary party back in April, the group has decided to return to Circo Voador for yet another unforgettable show. Tonight will feature Diva Rosana, Poets of Rock, John Penca, Silvinho Blau Blau, Band Ploc 80’s, Lost in the Jungle and more.
