Saturday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Noon is back at Zero Zero, probably the only daytime open air party in Rio at the moment, providing a flurry of international DJs. This special edition will feature a true master of the craft, DJ and producer Luke Solomun from Classic Music Company. Over the years, Classic, run with partner Derrick Carter, has released some of the most memorable music to date. Expect top notch tunage, along with local favorite DJ Ricardo Estrela providing support.

How about a blast from the past? A Festa Ploc 80’s combines attractions most requested by the public: Sergio Mallandro, Paquitas, Enemies of the King, Kathy, Marcelo Hayena, Banda Ploc 80’s, Dr. Silvana, Lost in the Jungle and Silvinho Blau Blau, and DJs LV Sun and Lady K. The public will also enjoy the distribution of gifts such as swords of He-Man, Rubik’s Cube and Pom-Poms.

Saturdays provide a great way to ease into the day or continue on from the night before with Noon at Zero Zero. The day party banger has played host to a number of out of town headliners. Today will be no different as Classic Music Company’s Luke Solomon graces the decks. A true leader of industry, with one of the best labels in dance music, don’t miss the rare appearance. Holding down the support is Ricardo Estrela from Tropical Beats.

Run VDG (Vidigal)
Alto Vidigal is back in action with their bi-monthly party Run VDG. This night will feature two of Rio’s favorite DJs Pedro Piu and Rafael RM2. Nothing says party like being on top of the Vidigal favela looking over all of Rio.

Soul de Santa e Vinil é Arte convidam Feijão Coletivo (Botafogo)
This party is sure to be one for the books as musical expert DJs from the famed Soul de Santa parties and Vinil é Arte collective celebrate a double dose of music bliss. Vinil é Arte commemorate over 10 years of events and shows with Marcello MB Groove and DJ Tuta playing the best of Brazilian rare groove and vinyl selections along with the disco and funk from DJ Lucio White of Soul de Santa.
