Full Rundown
The Tuesday return of the Blue Note SP evening programme. Edu Cristófaro — singer, composer, guitarist, and entrepreneur (founder of PromoAção, the thematic-cruise company) — comes to the Conjunto Nacional show salon for a single, intimate session.
Cristófaro has more than 300 recorded compositions across his career, and tonight he leans into the interpreter side of his identity: autoral material like “Sonhar Que Está Aqui” alongside reinterpretations of Brazilian classics — “Tocando em Frente,” “Pais e Filhos,” “Codinome Beija-Flor.” The artist also brings what is described as one of the largest Gibson guitar collections in Latin America to the stage, making the relationship with the instrument central to the show.
From R$45.
The Casa de Francisca Tuesday is the city’s most distinctive forró night.
Benício Guimarães — born in Alagoas, 77 years old, 50 years in the genre — is, in the Casa’s own description, “one of the architects of forró pé de serra.” His catalogue includes “Forró na Fazenda” and “Sete Meninas,” recorded by Jackson do Pandeiro, Marinalva, and Os 3 do Nordeste, among others, and his own discography stretches across more than 500 compositions.
Before and after the show, the Forró dos Ratos project takes the floor: three vinyl-collecting DJs led by Reine Oliveira spinning forró records old and new, with a stated mission to “re-educate” through the genre. Doors at the Salão 7:30 pm.
The Largo terrace and Sala B run their parallel Tuesday programming. Tickets and exact set times via casadefrancisca.art.br.
The constant in the city’s nightlife rhythm.
The Brahma at the corner of São João and Ipiranga has run live samba seven nights a week since 1948 — the venue Caetano Veloso wrote about in “Sampa.” Tuesday is the gentler version: a smaller crowd than the Friday peak, the band playing to a mid-size room, the kitchen running the full menu through close at 02h.
No cover. The natural Centro pairing with a Casa de Francisca evening — the Brahma and the Palacete Teresa are five blocks apart, an easy taxi.
The Rosewood São Paulo’s cocktail bar opens nightly from 7 pm — the polished alternative to the samba and forró options across town.
Tuesday is one of the easier nights to walk in without a reservation, though the Rosewood crowd uses it as a default close and the bar is small. The right room for a damp 35 % rain Tuesday and a slow drink after the Blue Note’s 8:30 pm session ends.
—Note. Plan A — The Paulista evening. Metro Consolação. 8:30 pm Edu Cristófaro at Blue Note SP. The 90-minute set, then a Rabo di Galo cocktail at the Rosewood — a 7-minute walk between the two.
—Note. Plan B — The forró night. Metro Sé. Casa de Francisca Salão for Benício Guimarães from 7:30 pm. Stay through Forró dos Ratos for the closing dance set. Walk to Bar Brahma after for the late-night samba.
—Note. Plan C — The slow Tuesday. Pinheiros dinner (Mourato Coelho, Aspicuelta) — Borogodó is dark Tue but the bar strip is open. Then Rabo di Galo for the close. Damp evening, no programme pressure.
—Note. The combined route: Casa de Francisca early forró set, taxi to Paulista for the Blue Note 8:30 pm — the two main stages of the night in one evening, finish with Rabo di Galo or Bar Brahma.

—Note. Dark Tonight
—Ó do Borogodó. dark — the 2026 schedule runs Wednesday to Sunday only, with Monday and Tuesday off. The first weeknight roda is tomorrow Wed from 9 pm. D-Edge dark — returns Thursday with the Moving programme. Casa de Francisca Porão: tonight’s specific Porão programme not pre-published — check the Casa’s bilheteria from 18h40 for the 100 free tickets, or casadefrancisca.art.br/novo/programacao day-of. Blue Note SP late session: tonight is a single-session show, no 22h30 act. The double-bill format returns tomorrow Wed with Vanda and the Youngs Toca AC/DC Early Years (the Baile Anos Dourados late session was cancelled). Pinheiros bar strip operates as a dinner-only zone tonight — Borogodó dark removes the music anchor, restaurants on Mourato Coelho and Aspicuelta have tables. Tomorrow the circuit fills back: Borogodó, Blue Note SP double-bill, Casa de Francisca all stages.
