The Nova Era formation reunites on stage: Edu Falaschi (vocals), Kiko Loureiro (guitar — now Megadeth), Rafael Bittencourt (guitar), Felipe Andreoli (bass), Aquiles Priester (drums). It’s the Nova Era’s only Brazilian performance outside the Bangers Open Air festival. Vanda and the Youngs — a paulistano quartet led by guitarist and radio host Daniel Daibem — focuses exclusively on AC/DC’s Bon Scott era (1973–1980), the period that produced “Highway to Hell” and “Whole Lotta Rosie.” The band’s distinguishing feature is their treatment of the material: rather than a straight tribute, they apply original soul-rock and “funk-mode” arrangements, opening up the rhythmic possibilities of songs that have lived in their original form for nearly five decades. First night of the Borogodó’s weeknight week. The bar’s 2026 schedule runs Wednesday to Sunday only — Monday and Tuesday closed — and tonight reopens after a two-day rest. Wednesday is the gentler version of the Pinheiros institution: smaller crowd than Friday and Saturday, the regulars rather than the visitors, the format rotating between partido-alto, classic chorinho, and MPB-inflected samba. The bar opens at 9 pm, the music typically starts around 10. Arrive before 10 pm for a table — the room is small and fills fast even on a Wednesday. Cash and PIX at the bar.
