The headline event of the São Paulo Brazilian-rock week. Angra — the progressive power-metal band formed in São Paulo in 1991 — celebrates the 25th anniversary of Rebirth (2001), the album that redefined the band after the original line-up split, in a single night at Espaço Unimed. The Nova Era formation reunites on stage: Edu Falaschi (vocals), Kiko Loureiro (guitar — now Megadeth), Rafael Bittencourt (guitar), Felipe Andreoli (bass), Aquiles Priester (drums). It’s the Nova Era’s only Brazilian performance outside the Bangers Open Air festival. The album Rebirth will be played in its entirety, plus a meeting between generations: the current Angra line-up — Alírio Netto (vocals), Marcelo Barbosa (guitar), Bruno Valverde (drums) — joins for an encore set drawing from Temple of Shadows, Angels Cry, Holy Land, Fireworks, and contemporary material. The smaller-room rock counterpart on Av. Paulista. Vanda and the Youngs — a paulistano quartet led by guitarist and radio host Daniel Daibem — focuses exclusively on AC/DC’s Bon Scott era (1973–1980), the period that produced “Highway to Hell” and “Whole Lotta Rosie.” The band’s distinguishing feature is their treatment of the material: rather than a straight tribute, they apply original soul-rock and “funk-mode” arrangements, opening up the rhythmic possibilities of songs that have lived in their original form for nearly five decades. Single show, 18+. Doors at 7 pm in the Conjunto Nacional show salon, music at 8 pm. The Blue Note SP late session is dark tonight — Wednesday is single-show.
First night of the Borogodó’s weeknight week. The bar’s 2026 schedule runs Wednesday to Sunday only — Monday and Tuesday closed — and tonight reopens after a two-day rest.
Wednesday is the gentler version of the Pinheiros institution: smaller crowd than Friday and Saturday, the regulars rather than the visitors, the format rotating between partido-alto, classic chorinho, and MPB-inflected samba.
The bar opens at 9 pm, the music typically starts around 10. Arrive before 10 pm for a table — the room is small and fills fast even on a Wednesday. Cash and PIX at the bar.
The kitchen runs honest boteco food: caldo de feijão, carne-seca com abóbora, cold beer.
Wednesday is when the Casa runs at full capacity — every stage operational. The Salão (150 seats, the seated main room) opens at 7:30 pm with the curadoria’s centrepiece act of the night. The Porão below opens at 7:30 pm with the show at 9:30 pm and close at 1 am — first 100 tickets free, distributed at the bilheteria from 6:40 pm to 8:30 pm. The Largo terrace opens from 6:30 pm with vinyl DJs and free entry. The Sala B — the small 44-seat intimate room, only operating Tuesdays and Wednesdays — runs its Wed programme. Getting Around
Espaço Unimed: Marechal Deodoro (Line 3-Red) is the closest metro at 12 minutes’ walk; Barra Funda (Line 3 / Line 7-Ruby / CPTM) is also viable. Limited paid parking on Tagipuru and surrounding streets — ride-hailing strongly recommended for a sold-out Wednesday show; surge will hit hard at 11h30/midnight close. Metro: normal weekday hours. Consolação (Line 2-Green) for Av. Paulista, Blue Note SP, MASP, and Rabo di Galo. Sé and São Bento (Line 1-Blue) for Casa de Francisca and Centro.
