Santiago 2023 wins award as best new brand in Chile

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – The Santiago 2023 concept has been making a strong entrance in Chile and South America for some time now. It is the brand of the next Pan American and Parapan American Games held in Santiago.

In this scenario, the Corporation in charge of its development and organization received the news that the badge was chosen as one of the winners of the Best Branding Awards 2021, a contest that highlights strategies and branding actions of national companies.

The competition is organized by Grupo Valora, which highlighted Santiago 2023 in the category “Best New Brand / Brand Strategy”, which highlights the creation of new concepts from its design and implementation strategy.

“We are happy to have participated and won this important contest that brings together the best brands in the country. It confirms that we are on the right track with the work developed; we are well-positioned. Still, we have to keep working to obtain achievements like this,” said the executive director of Santiago 2023, Felipe De Pablo.

The Santiago 2023 brand was developed by the agency B2O in 2019. Despite the pandemic, its installation process through different platforms and field promotion has been successfully completed, indicates Juan Carlos Chamy, commercial and marketing manager of the Corporation. “This recognition fills us with pride and motivates us to continue working hard to develop a game of excellence, with concern for every detail, to meet the needs of all athletes, the public, and sponsors,” said Chamy.

The Pan American Games are scheduled to begin on October 20, 2023, and run until November 5. It is the most important and massive sporting event that Chile has hosted since the 1962 World Cup.
