Friday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Halloween weekend is kicking off and nowhere appreciates a good fantasy dress (costume) party like Rio de Janeiro. The Blue Agave in Ipanema is putting on their annual party this year with DJ Tee Cardaci, which is set to mix great tunes, great outfits and great drinks.

Tee Cardaci is an American DJ in Rio who was part of the Botafogo Social Club, RUN VDG and recently the house DJ at Clubhouse. At Blue Agave tonight look for him to set the mood for an all out street party at this Ipanema favorite. Check their Facebook event page for drink specials.

Tonight, Palaphita will host the Turn Up party in its beautiful and funky venue in Gavea. There will be DJs from the label Love Sessions spinning the best of deep and house techno all night.

Tonight, Teatro Odisseia will host the party We Can’t Stop. There will be two dance floors of rock and pop music. In addition, promotions and activities will include welcome shots of catuaba de Acai, beerbong and placards to attract your crush.

It’s time again for Lapafest at Leviano bar tonight. Singer Mar Cesar will start off the night on the first floor by performing well-known samba, MPB, and sambalanço songs. The bloco Picada de Primeira will follow with the best of samba, MPB, soul, and samba reggae.
