Rio Nightlife Guide for Friday, November 4, 2016

Friday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Tonight, Palaphita will host the VEM PRO PALA! party at its chic and stylish venue in Gavea. The doors open at 6PM and close at 1AM – but the party doesn’t end until the sun comes up.

DJ Christian K, selecting the best hip-hop, soul and pop and Gabriel Torres will also be on the decks with sets ranging from Deep to Tech House with exciting mixes.

Promotions will include three bottles of Chandon for the price of two until 1AM. Dress to impress here, as the crowd is beautiful and there are no Havaianas allowed.

Tonight, Miroir will host the A Recepção dos Calouros party in its chic venue in Lagoa. DJs Djamal, Mariana Pinet, YNM & FILL, and John Failly will spin the best of house all night.

Cordão da Bola Preta will host tonight the party Saideira with DJs Rafael Cassel and Nicolle Neumann spinning tracks all night. There will also be free distribution of beer, cachaça, and Skol Beats.

Tonight, Palaphita will host the VEM PRO PALA! party, with DJ Christian K, selecting the best hip-hop, soul and pop.
Also Gabriel Torres, with sets ranging from Deep to Tech House with exciting mixes. There is no need to list, because entrance is free until 1AM.

Luiza Dionizio Live Samba (Lapa)
Luiza Dionizio is today one of the great samba singers to perform at Carioca da Gema, and has just released her first CD. She will sings hits by Luiz Carlos da Vila, Toninho Geraes, Clara Nunes, João Nogueira among others.

Adriana Dutra, Strada, Nando Cavaco, DJ Marcelo Sabre, Forró-Calça Arriada (Centro)
Beginning at 8PM, singer Adriana Dutra will start the night at Rio Scenarium with the best of samba. Singer Strada will follow at 11PM with the best of Brazilian music. At 11PM, Nando do Cavaco will perform the best of samba, followed by DJ Marcelo Sabre. Then beginning at 3:30AM, Forró-Calça Arriada will perform the best of forró.

Lapafest (Lapa)
It’s time again for Lapafest at Leviano bar tonight. Singer Mar Cesar will start off the night on the first floor by performing well-known samba, MPB, and sambalanço songs. The bloco Picada de Primeira will follow with the best of samba, MPB, soul, and samba reggae. On the second floor during the night, the power trio Johnny’s will perform the best of international pop rock.

Blue Agave Ipanema (Ipanema)
Blue Agave Ipanema is always a great place for Mexican food, drinks and for watching live sport streams and broadcasts. Just around the corner from Posto 9, the bar is also known for its mostly English-speaking staff and the mostly English-speaking crowd which frequents the establishment. Be sure to check out Blue Agave in Copacabana also for a great night out.
