PicPay Crowned Brazil’s Best Digital Bank at iBest 2024

PicPay, a leading Brazilian fintech, secured the prestigious iBest 2024 award for Best Digital Bank, triumphing over heavyweights Nubank and Banco Inter.

This marks a staggering 15-fold increase compared to the same period in 2023. In the first half alone, net income reached R$61.8 million—nearly double its total profit for 2023.

Total payment volume surged to R$188.6 billion during this period, representing a 66% year-over-year growth. These figures highlight PicPay’s success in diversifying revenue streams and scaling its credit operations.

These innovations enhanced user experience while expanding its ecosystem beyond traditional banking to include payments, credit, investments, and insurance. Operational efficiency also played a key role in PicPay’s success.

The company implemented AI-driven customer support, resolving 60% of user inquiries without human intervention. This contributed to a 45-point increase in its Net Promoter Score (NPS), a key measure of customer satisfaction.
