Paraguay and Israel to boost mutual trade
RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – Paraguay and Israel are two countries with complementary industries, so there is a great potential for economic growth through a mutual exchange in bilateral trade. The Paraguayan-Israeli Chamber of Commerce (Cacopi), comprised of business people from different sectors, announced they aim to boost this segment and Paraguay’s growth and economic development through trade.
In this sense, the president of Cacopi, Alejandro Rubin, said that Paraguay exports meat, soybeans, charcoal, juices, and yerba mate, among other products, to the Israeli market, which is only 2% of all exports to the world by the South American country.
Israel is responsible for providing the local market with technological advances, medicines, insecticides, and other knowledge transfers.

Therefore, the different companies that are part of the guild intend to strengthen these relations by exploring complementarities, identifying economic opportunities and incentives for the establishment of investments, and mediation between the private sectors of both countries.
