Monday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – With only a guitar and vocals, the traditional style of MPB are ever so present at Cachaçaria Mangue Seco. Top notch musicians will rotate throughout the month, playing a repertoire of MPB, bossa nova and samba.

R4 Life presents reggae and dub on Monday nights at Leviano. This Monday night party is becoming very popular in downtown Rio. Expect to hear the best in dub, reggae and two-step.

Nuth (Barra da Tijuca)
Monday nights at Nuth have a more laid back crowd so don’t expect a nightclub. Join in on the fun with their set up pool table and relaxing ambiance. There is also another location in Lagoa so be sure to check them both out.

Classic roda de samba with an emphasis on the music’s African roots. One of the best in the city performs every Monday night in the Gamboa area of Centro.
