‘Madrugada no Centro’ Project to Close CCBB’s 30th Anniversary Celebrations

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – On Saturday, February 8th, the ‘Madrugada no Centro’ (“Dawn in Downtown”) project will close the 30th anniversary celebrations of the Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil (Brazil Cultural Center – CCBB). Held outdoors, the event will feature entertainment for both children and adults.

In the afternoon, from 2:30 PM on, there will be a performance by ‘A Bandinha’, coming directly from Recife to cheer up the kids, and DJ Fábio Maia, with the “Baby Boom” set.

After that, from 10 PM to 4 AM, performances by the ‘A Banda Mais Bonita da Cidade’ and ‘Bloco Fogo & Paixão’, with the participation of Rodrigo Maranhão are scheduled. In addition, DJ Dani Vieira will perform her set at the opening, intermissions and at the end of the night.

‘Madrugada no Centro’ has been in existence for six years, consistently promoting musical events. The goal is that music and art communicate democratically, featuring a different agenda in each of its editions, with DJs, musicians, guest artists and performances.
