Friday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Mauricio Lopes is one of Rio de Janeiro’s founding fathers of the electronic music scene. Since the early 90s, he has been DJing and producing events showcasing the best of house, techno and tech house. Tonight he returns to Fosfobox in Copacabana for yet another edition of the popular party Mau, named after himself, that has been rocking Rio for the past few years now.
Tonights edition will feature the master of craft spinning all by his lonesome in the basement, as he prepares for an all night extended set. His extended sets are those of legend as he takes his crowd on an electronic musical journey through the realms of house and techno. Funking things upstairs will be DJs Skull B and Cybass.
