In the top 20 released, there is no Brazilian company.

According to the publication, the list was made by its editorial team, which analyzed 385 airlines under the following criteria:

• Accidents in the last 5 years
• Incidents in the last 2 years
• Audit of official bodies
• Analysis of pilot training
• Covid-19 protocols

The highest place on the list went to the Australian Qantas, which last year appeared in seventh position. The podium is completed by Air New Zealand — leader in 2022 — and Etihad Airways.
