RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Economic activity grew in Peru by 4.55% in October over the same month of 2020, due to a recovery in almost all sectors after overcoming the recession caused by the pandemic, the government reported Wednesday.
"National production in October 2021 registered an increase of 4.55%, sustained by the positive evolution of most sectors of the economy, except the fishing, construction, and financial sectors," the National Institute of Statistics and Informatics (INEI) said in a report.
