RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Approximately 23,000 Brazilians (22,991) who have contracted the novel coronavirus have since recovered from the disease, according to the Ministry of Health's statement on Monday, April 20th.
The recovery rate of Covid-19 in Brazil currently stands at 56.7 percent.
By Monday, the country had recorded 40,581 confirmed coronavirus cases. The number of deaths due to the disease reached 2,575, and the mortality rate stood at 6.3 percent.
