After 3 years calling Trump “crazy,” White House admits coronavirus leaked from Chinese lab
A White House Office of Intelligence report cited a State Department investigation confirming that SARS-CoV-2 leaked from the Wuhan Virology Laboratory.
This Sunday, the US Department of Energy concluded in a classified report it provided to the president’s office and members of congressional intelligence that the Covid-19 pandemic arose from a leak from the Wuhan Virology Laboratory in China.
The report is part of a larger document prepared by the office of Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines following a request from the US Senate that the White House investigate the source of the pandemic more rigorously.

While the Energy Department, which oversees the network of US national laboratories and thus was put in charge of leading this investigation, said it could not determine how the virus emerged in a first inquiry in 2021, this week it changed the conclusion and said it could have been a leak, the Wall Street Journal reported in an article.
The Energy Department made its judgment with “low confidence,” according to people who read the classified report, but the conclusion is final and assures that the communist regime in China is responsible for starting the pandemic.
The FBI had previously reached the same conclusion that the pandemic resulted from a laboratory leak in 2021, although they still hold this view with “moderate confidence”.
The FBI hired a team of microbiologists, immunologists, and other scientists from the private sector, who worked with the support of the National Center for Bioforensic Analysis, to investigate the security protocols of the Wuhan Laboratory.
According to this study, the virus was created and escaped “by mistake,” leading the Chinese Communist Party to cover up the leak.
The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) remains “undecided” whether a laboratory leak or natural transmission started the pandemic.
Despite the agencies’ differing analyses, the update reaffirmed the comments of former President Donald Trump, who was treated as “crazy” for saying what two State agencies had already confirmed under the Biden administration.
US national security adviser Jake Sullivan refused to confirm or deny the Journal’s reports on a Sunday CNN appearance.
He said President Biden had repeatedly directed every part of the intelligence community to invest in trying to discern as much as possible about the pandemic’s origins.
“President Biden specifically requested that the national labs, which are part of the Department of Energy, be included in this assessment because he wants to use all the tools to figure out what happened here,” Mr. Sullivan said.
There are a “variety of views in the intelligence community,” Sullivan added.
“A number of them have said they simply don’t have enough information.”
He did not, however, mention those who claim to have enough information to conclude it was a leak.
Alaska Republican Sen. Dan Sullivan said Sunday that Congress needed to hold extensive hearings on the pandemic’s origins, adding that China has tried to bully other countries into not questioning whether the virus arose naturally or in its laboratories.
“We’re talking about a country that has no problem lying to the world,” he said.
The Covid-19 virus first circulated in Wuhan, China, no later than November 2019, according to a US intelligence report developed in conjunction with the WHO.
On the other hand, China claims that circulation began in late December of that year.
Already in something as easy to determine as when the first case was registered in its hospitals, the Chinese regime is lying.
This is an important fact since the Chinese Communist Party refused to close its overseas flights during the Chinese New Year 2020 (January 25, 2020) because it still had no confirmation that the coronavirus was airborne.
According to the Western report, since November, the virus had been circulating, and since December, China knew how it was transmitted.
While it is open to debate whether the virus was purposely leaked to cause a pandemic, the 2020 report and this weekend’s report confirm that the virus escaped from its state laboratories, and China allowed a potential epidemic to become the worst pandemic in centuries.
