Wednesday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Cave Club will host Estados Alterados Rio tonight, which will feature the release of singer Rodrigo Pitta’s new album. Expect a live show from Pitta and special guest Arto Lindsay, plus DJ sets from DJ Mau Mau, Diogo Reis, Good Family (Vivi Seixas and Mike Frugaletti) and Dirty Clean.
Poet, composer, theater writer, singer, and director Rodrigo Pitta is one of the multimedia revelations of the Brazilian art scene over the past few years. He began his carreer as a musical theater director and brought more than five hundred thousand people to brazilian theaters with such hits like Cazas de Cazuza in 2000, Modernidade (2003), Um Homem Chamado Lee (2007) and Pátria Armada (2008).
