Voepass Linhas Aéreas is broadening its reach, introducing routes in five Brazilian states from March 31.

This move connects small cities to São Paulo’s Congonhas and Guarulhos airports, and links Florianópolis to Porto Alegre directly.

With a fleet of 14 ATR aircraft, VOEPASS caters to regional destinations across Brazil. The new flights will serve:

  • From Cascavel to Congonhas
  • From Caxias do Sul to Guarulhos
  • Chapecó to Guarulhos and to Florianópolis
  • Florianópolis to Porto Alegre
  • Maringá to Congonhas
  • Rio Verde to Guarulhos
  • Presidente Prudente to Guarulhos

Additionally, flights from Ribeirão Preto and Juiz de Fora to Guarulhos will increase to three daily.

Through a partnership with Latam, Voepass enables seamless connections for travelers using both airlines under one ticket.

Booking for these new and expanded services is now open via LATAM’s channels.

However, this expansion underscores Voepass’s commitment to enhancing regional connectivity and travel options within Brazil.

Background

This expansion by Voepass reflects a growing trend in the aviation industry to improve regional connectivity in Brazil, a country known for its vast distances and diverse geography.

Historically, Brazil’s air transport has been concentrated in its major cities, leaving smaller urban areas underserved.

In addition, Voepass’s initiative to introduce flights in less connected regions is a significant step towards bridging this gap.

By connecting smaller cities with major urban centers, Voepass is not only facilitating easier travel for residents but also promoting economic growth in these areas.

In short, the choice of ATR aircraft for these routes is strategic, considering their suitability for short to medium distances and efficiency in operations at smaller airports.
