Thursday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Thursday night will play host to a night of great electronic music as locals Pedro Piu, Nytron (Kriptus Gomes) and Fernando Deperon present Silver Tape, featuring Click Box, from D-Edge agency.

Conceived in 2004 as a musical escape route from the clutches of conventional techno, Click Box unassumingly falls into this category. Magda and Troy Pierce spotted their potential in 2007 and invited them to release the “Espaco e tempo EP” on Items & Things, at that time a sub label of Richie Hawtin’s record label Minus. They’ve quickly become a permanent fixture of the family. Reigning from Sao Paulo, this will be a rare appearance in Rio that is not to be missed.
