Saturday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Orquestra Republicana will be hosting a night filled with forró and samba, two of the oldest genres in Brazil, at one of the most popular joints in Lapa, O Clube dos Democráticos.

Orquestra Republicana (Lapa)
The orchestra will be performing only one set of forró along with a night of samba. In the intervals Gau DJ plays the best of forró, Xote Maracatú and bay. The group is a tribute to Paulinho da Viola.
