Saturday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – The most famous beach in the world, Copacabana Beach, is known for its annual Réveillon party. This beach party hosts two million people dressing in white spraying champagne under fifteen minutes of jaw dropping fireworks. The two main stages are set up for the night and will host attractions such as Beth Carvalho, O Rapa, Latino, the international DJ David Guetta (in front of the Copacabana Palace Hotel), Morais Moreia, Blitz band and the samba schools Beija-Flor e Unidos da Tijuca (by Rua Santa Clara).

NEW YEAR’S EVE Pre-Réveillon :

This Mexican Bar in Copacabana will be a great Pre-Réveillon spot to grab a drink with some good friends and meet up before the crowds of people separate you on the beach!

Live Music @ Balcony (Copacabana)

Pão de Açúcar (Urca)
“Success for five years, the” Sugar Loaf New Year “the city and promises to stir great energies to emanate from his early years. Tickets may include open bar specials, buffet from the restaurant Zozô, and breakfast. From one of the best views of Rio, Pão de Açúcar hosts its annual Réveillon party.

Jockey Clube da Gávea (Gávea)
For a traditional and familiar Réveillon, Jockey Clube da Gávea will host its annual festivities. Kids are welcome at this party, as the club will have entertainers and youth staff to look after them. The party starts at 9PM with music by Monobloco Show, Groove Box band and DJs.

Rocks at Arpoador (Arpoador)
For some that are living on a budget and hoping to see the fireworks without the crowds, a few friends and refreshments brought to Aproador rocks might be just the right solution. From here the fireworks can be seen in the skyline, and it is easy to get in and out.
