Monday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – A mix of casual chic Village with the sunset at Dois Irmãos (two brothers), premised the idea of merging the modern with the cool of Soho artsy Botanical Garden and the other of stirring things up with the hubbub of the Stone Street in Buzios. Hence was born Caroline Café. Great Happy Hour spot.

Melt Party (Leblon)
Melt is one of the best spots in Leblon for a good time on a Monday night. On the bottom floor a nice lounge area, second floor has a dance floor. They have everything from samba to rock. Be sure to call ahead for the music selection.

Nuth (Barra da Tijuca)
Monday nights at Nuth have a more laid back crowd so don’t expect a nightclub. Join in on the fun with their set up pool table and relaxing ambiance. There is also another location in Lagoa so be sure to check them both out.

Bip Bip (Copacabana)
Bip Bip owes its fame to an outstanding musical program. Around 7PM is the best evenings to catch some great samba or pagode. It’s not unusual to see some Brazilian greats such as Beth Carvalho, Nelson Sargento, Walter Alfaiate, and others come out to sing and play.
