The party will feature two stages. Piti and Nasty will spin for the Cumbia party while Sean Diss, Gui Toledo, and πollanda will spin for the Art Inn party.
The event is free and if previous editions are any indication, tonight promises to be lively. It’s a great way to discover more of the music South American has to offer.

American rock band, The Maine returns to Circo Voador in Lapa to perform live tonight. The stop is part of their ongoing tour, “The Brazilian Candy 2015” held in support of their most recent release, American Candy. The band The Technicolors will open the night.

Nelson da Rabeca and Thomas Rohrer (Castelo)
Tonight Quintavant Qtv will present a live performance by Nelson da Rabeca and Thomas Rohrer at Sala Funarte Sidney Miller in Castelo/Centro. Da Rabeca is known for playing the violin and for crafting violins using a machete typically used to cut sugar cane. Rohrer is a Swiss saxophonist and violinist who is know for exploring soundscapes and creating new sonic combinations.

Folks (Méier)
Tonight the group Folks will launch their debut album live at Imperator Centro Cultural João Nogueira tonight. Formed in 2011, Folks is an independent band consisting of vocalist Kauan Calazans, bassist Vitor Carvalho, guitarist and vocalist Paulinho Barros, guitarist Sergio Sessim and drummer Ygor Helbourn.

It’s time again for Lapafest at Leviano bar tonight.
