Lufthansa will increase Rio de Janeiro flights from Galeão Airport in 2024, offering six weekly flights from three.
This expansion connects Rio and Frankfurt Airport, previously served by Munich.

Lufthansa will use Airbus A340-300 initially, upgrading to Boeing 787-9 later. Both offer Business, Premium Economy, and Economy classes.
