The Puerto Rican singer brings his La Voz Favorita World Tour to Lima’s seafront concert ground on the Labour Day holiday. Tickets go on sale through Teleticket from Tuesday 13 October.

Jay Wheeler Lima fans have a date: the Puerto Rican singer plays Costa 21, the open-air concert ground on the Costa Verde seafront in San Miguel, on Saturday 1 May 2027. Teleticket, the only official seller, opens an Interbank card presale on Tuesday 13 October 2026 at 11 am Lima time, with general prices from S/153 (about US$44).

For US readers the show is a chance to see one of the best-known voices of romantic reggaeton in Lima, with general tickets under US$50. The concert falls on a Saturday that is also a public holiday in Peru, so a long weekend in Lima is easy to plan around it.

Who Jay Wheeler Is and Why the Show Matters

Jay Wheeler is a Puerto Rican singer known for reggaeton, trap and R&B songs about love, break-ups and personal experience, which has made him a fixture on Latin music charts and streaming platforms. His best-known songs include “La Curiosidad” with Myke Towers, “Pacto”, “Por Tu Culpa” and “De Lejitos”, all named by Teleticket and the Peruvian press as part of the Lima set.

The tour is built around La Voz Favorita, a 24-track album released in May 2026 that mixes reggaeton, R&B, trap and a salsa number dedicated to his grandfather. Guests on the record include Mora, Luar La L, Marcelo Rubio and Deimi, according to Teleticket’s event page and the Lima edition of Infobae.

The La Voz Favorita World Tour covers Europe, the United States and Latin America, and Infobae says the Latin American leg follows dates in Spain and the United States. It lists Ecuador, Honduras, Guatemala, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Panama, Costa Rica, Colombia and the Dominican Republic on the Latin American leg, with Lima added this week.

Lima is a return visit rather than a debut. Teleticket says the show follows his earlier Peruvian concert on the TRAPPii Tour, and the local promoter, Concerts Sports AEI10 S.A.C., is betting that the same audience will come back for the new record.

Date, Start Time and Schedule

The concert is on Saturday 1 May 2027 at Costa 21, and Teleticket says the show may begin at 9 pm Lima time and run for about two hours. Lima stays on UTC minus five all year, while US Eastern time will be on daylight saving time in May, so 9 pm in Lima is 10 pm ET and 7 pm in Los Angeles.

Door times and any opening act have not been announced. E-tickets can be downloaded from two days before the show, and Teleticket warns that late entry is subject to the organiser’s rules and that there is no re-entry once you leave.

The first of May is Labour Day, a national public holiday in Peru, and in 2027 it falls on a Saturday. Expect busier roads and restaurants across Lima that weekend, and book hotels early if you plan to fly in for the show.

Tickets and Prices

Tickets are sold only through Teleticket, online at teleticket.com.pe, with a maximum of six per customer and a virtual queue when sales open. The Interbank presale runs on Tuesday 13 and Wednesday 14 October 2026, or until its stock of 7,000 discounted tickets runs out, and gives up to 15% off with Interbank credit and debit cards.

Regular sale with all payment methods starts on Thursday 15 October, or earlier if presale stock sells out, and runs until the day of the show. Prices on the Teleticket page include its service fee, and the discount applies only to the ticket value, not to the fee.

  • General: S/153 (about US$44) regular, S/130 (about US$38) in the Interbank presale
  • VIP: S/330 (about US$96) regular, S/280 (about US$81) in the presale
  • Individual box seat: S/399 (about US$116) regular, S/340 (about US$98) in the presale
  • Full box: S/3,990 (about US$1,156) regular, S/3,400 (about US$985) in the presale

Dollar values use the Central Reserve Bank of Peru’s bank selling rate of S/3.453 per US dollar on 7 October 2026. Your card issuer will apply its own rate and possibly a foreign transaction fee, so the final charge on a US card may differ slightly.

Teleticket recommends the show for adults over 18, and children aged five or older may enter only with an adult, each with a paid ticket in the same sector. Children under five are not admitted, and a small number of discounted VIP tickets at S/264 (about US$76) are reserved for registered people with disabilities.

Buy only on the official site and avoid sellers on social media or messaging apps, a common source of fake tickets before big shows in Lima. If you live outside Peru, check before the presale that your card works on Teleticket, since the Interbank discount applies only to cards issued by that Peruvian bank.

Getting There

Costa 21 sits on the Costa Verde, the coastal highway that runs below the cliffs of Lima’s seafront districts, in the district of San Miguel. It is west of Miraflores and Barranco, where most visitors stay, and somewhat closer to Jorge Chávez International Airport in Callao than those neighbourhoods.

There is no metro line to the venue, so most fans arrive by ride-hailing app, taxi or private car along the Costa Verde. Traffic on the coastal road builds before and after big concerts, so leave early and agree on a meeting point with your group, as mobile data can slow down when the crowd leaves at once.

Lima has direct flights from several US hubs, and a Friday arrival leaves time to rest before a late Saturday show. If you are in town earlier in the season, Christina Aguilera plays Lima’s Sound Music Fest on 21 November, and many visitors add a trip to the Andes, where Machu Picchu tickets now follow new rules.

Safety and Costs for Visitors

The US State Department rates Peru at Level 2, “exercise increased caution”, in its advisory issued on 4 September 2026, citing crime, unrest, kidnapping and terrorism. Its Level 4 “do not travel” zones are far from Lima, in parts of the Loreto border region and the VRAEM valleys, among other inland areas.

The advisory says petty theft, muggings and assaults are common, even in daylight, and that the risk of crime rises at night, which matters after a show that ends around 11 pm. Use an app-based taxi or a ride booked through your hotel rather than hailing an unknown car in the street, and agree on a pickup point away from the main exit.

Keep your phone in a front pocket in the crowd and leave your passport at the hotel, carrying a copy instead. Lima in early May is moving into its cooler, often overcast season with very little rain, so bring a light jacket for a late evening on the seafront.

What Is Not Confirmed Yet

Teleticket and the promoter have not published door times, an opening act or a seating plan beyond the reference map on the sale page. No second Lima date has been announced, and the promoter has not said whether a new tier will open if the presale sells out.

The full list of US and Latin American dates on the La Voz Favorita World Tour has not been published on a single official page we could check. Any prices on social media that differ from the Teleticket page should be treated as unconfirmed until the seller lists them.
