Friday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Black Sheep returns to Fosfobox for an unforgettable night of funky tech house. Celebrating the birthdays of both Black Sheep producers and DJs Rodrigo Correira and Bruno Matera, this night is packed with local and out of town talent.

Otto Lançamento “The Moon 1111” (Lapa)
Otto returns to the Circo Voador to release his sixth album, “The Moon 1111”. The new CD is influenced by the character Guy Montag from “Fahrenheit 451” (1966), a film by François Truffaut. Opening the night will be the singer from Pará, Felipe Cordeiro and disco grooves from DJ Lencinho.

Monobloco + MC Marcelinho (Lapa)
Monobloco is known as one of the most popular and in-demand Brazilian groups today. The eclectic repertoire ranges from traditional marches of João Roberto Kelly to the samba of Cartola and Clara Nunes, the xote of Alceu Valencia, the forró of Gonzaga, the funk of MC Leonardo, and even including songs from Paralamas do Sucesso, Raul Seixas and Tim Maia. Monobloco always gives a great performance, so don’t miss out.

Black Sheep- Birthday Special Edition (Copacabana)
Black Sheep returns to Fosfobox for an incredible night of electronic music. Commemorating the birthdays of resident DJs Rodrigo Correira and Bruno Matera, the night will feature some of the best local and out of town talent. Upstairs will be held down by the Botafogo Social Club, while downstairs will feature Pedro Piu, Andre Araujo, Danilo Araujo, Smutty and Funky, Rockerr playing live and Mexican duo the Climbers, who represent the popular tech house label Get Physical. Be ready to stay up late, this party will go all night long.
