The Brazilian side weathered persistent pressure to book its place in the season’s continental showcase. The match, played on October 30, 2025, was defined by Racing’s offensive urgency and Flamengo’s disciplined defensive block.

The Argentine hosts dominated possession and unleashed a high volume of crosses into the area, but consistently found their aerial strategy neutralized by Flamengo’s organized backline and goalkeeper Rossi, who made crucial saves when called upon.
