Saab promotes the Gripen fighter for Colombian Air Force at F-Air 2023

By Erich Saumeth

In developing the future F-Air 2023 Aeronautical and Space Fair, to be held next July, Saab, and the Brazilian Air Force will exhibit a Gripen E-type aircraft as part of the wide and varied static exhibition of the new edition of this aeronautical event.

The presence of the Gripen is part of the promotion Saab has been carrying out in the region of its multirole fighter, already deployed by Brazil, the user of this model in Latin America.

The Swedish aircraft then joins an important list of aircraft that will be present at F-Air, including the Lockheed Martin F-22, Boeing Military Aircraft B-52 Stratofortress, Embraer C-390 Millennium, and Lockheed Martin F-16, as well as a considerable display of models from the Air Force, the Aviation Division, Naval Aviation, and the Colombian Police Air Service.

It is worth remembering that by 2021 – and due to the Covid-19 pandemic – the F-Air was held virtually (F-Air Connection), having achieved in its penultimate edition (2019) to reach 65,000 visitors, which categorizes it as one of the most important aeronautical shows and events in the continent.
