Trudeau’s euthanasia program: doctors allowed to kill children without parental consent

Charles Camosy, associate professor of theological and social ethics at Fordham University, weighs in on Trudeau’s euthanasia program allowing children to be killed by doctors without the approval of their parents:

“We have to get off the couch and do something about this for those of us who see the writing on the wall here.”

Doctors killing children without informing their parents because they are depressed. It’s only possible in Canada.

Homeless, poor, and chronically ill people can also opt for euthanasia.

The liberal Toronto Star newspaper called it “Hunger Games-style social Darwinism.”

Tucker Carlson said on his show that he doesn’t like to refer to the Nazis, but “they’re known for it.”

“Use doctors to kill the weakest in your society,” he said. “I thought doctors agreed not to do that kind of thing after World War II anymore.”

Carlson stressed that doctors’ job is to help people, to make people well, not to kill them.

Writer Charles Camosy said we have “a very different health care system” today than 20 to 30 years ago.

It is overly secularized and often based on cost-benefit analyses, even QALYs (quality-adjusted life years), Camosy said.

QALY is an English term that stands for an extra year of life in good health.

The grandfather of Canadian Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland, Prime Minister Trudeau’s right-hand woman, was a high-ranking Nazi under Hitler who was wanted by Polish authorities after the war.

At the time of the Nuremberg trials, her grandfather worked in Bavaria for the U.S. intelligence apparatus. He emigrated to Canada and retired there.
