Thursday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Born from the love of all electronic music from low bpm to high bass, the Electroholic party returns to the popular Fosfobox club in Copacabana tonight.
During the event tonight, the duo D-Groov, the duo Jokerz, PL Project, and Motta will spin in the subsolo (basement).
Additionally during the night, The Manager, Larissa Busch, and Tomás Tróia will spin above at the Fosfobar.

Tonight Quintavant Qtv presents DEDO and Gustavo Jobim at Audio Rebel in Botafogo. During the night, Jobim will perform his eighteenth solo album in its entirety, including the recently released twenty-minute single, “Minha Estrada” (“My Road”).

Following the success of last year’s first edition, held during the 2014 World Cup, the Village Jockey Club festival will return to the Jockey Club do Rio de Janeiro in Gávea for twelve days beginning tonight. The festival will feature both international and national musicians and bands performing live, as well as parties, food, food trucks and more. Tonight the “Welcome Village 2015” party kicks off the festival with Tropkillaz performing live, plus Tropical Trap, Leondre,and a special MOO DJset.

Veneno and Get Glam (Botafogo)
It’s time again for the Veneno party tonight at Botafogo’s Casa da Matriz. For over ten years the weekly events, filled with good music and beautiful people, have helped start weekends early in Rio. Tonight will be no exception as DJs Tulio Araujo, Beto Artista and special guest DJ Fabs Mondego will spin the best of rock and pop on the first floor and the Meninas Veneno will return to the second floor to spin the best of unsigned hits during the night.

Tonight at Lapa’s Leviano Bar it’s time to dance as the group Mano a Mano starts things off at 8PM with salsa and merengue on the first floor. Later, the dancing will continue on the second floor as the weekly Forró Leviano party will present a live performance by Marcelo Mimoso. Additionally, DJ Angolano will spin salsa and DJ Léo Araripe will spin forró during the night.

Toninho Geraes and JP Silva (Lapa)
Tonight at 8:30PM, JP Silva will start things off at Carioca da Gema with the best of samba. Then, composer and singer Toninho Geraes will follow at 10:30PM. Geraes has composed for artists including Martinho da Vila and Zeca Pagodinho and during his show tonight, he will sing their hits, as well as his own compositions. Additionally, he will reinterpret the works of Moacyr Luz, Paulinho da Viola, and Chico Buarque, among others.
