The largest São Paulo Time Warp ever. The German techno-and-house festival — born in Mannheim in 1994, established in Brazil since 2018 — moves this year from Vale do Anhangabaú to the Neo Química Arena, the Corinthians stadium in Itaquera. The first of two days runs 18h to 6h, twelve hours uninterrupted across two floors. Day 1 lineup centres on the techno peak names: Charlotte de Witte (Belgian, one of global techno’s most-requested names), Richie Hawtin (Time Warp resident since the original 1990s German editions), Enrico Sangiuliano (Italian peak-time techno), Mochakk b2b DJ Gigola (Brazilian / international b2b), Monolink (German melodic), Axel Boman (Swedish house), DJ Minx b2b DJ Holographic (Detroit), Syreeta b2b Omoloko, Desiree, Marrøn, plus Brazilian Idlibra and Zopelar. The closing performance of The Weeknd‘s After Hours Til Dawn São Paulo run, after Sunday’s Rio date and Thursday’s Day 1. Sold out on Ticketmaster — last chance to catch the Brazilian leg of the largest R&B tour in history. Anitta opens with a hit-focused set then returns for the “São Paulo” duet, the closing collaboration on the holiday-eve night the city’s biggest stage was built for. Doors at 4 pm, show at 9 pm. MetrôSP Lines 1-Azul, 2-Verde, 3-Vermelha and 15-Prata stay open all night for show-day return — practical for moving across the city after midnight without ride-hailing surge. The Blue Note SP’s signature Friday-Saturday double-bill format presents Chiara Civello in two sessions tonight at 8 pm and 10:30 pm. Born in Rome in 1975, Civello is an Italian singer, composer, and pianist of international standing — known for a fusion of jazz, blues, pop, bossa nova and Brazilian music that has built a career across the United States, Italy and Brazil. Her collaborations include Tony Bennett, Gilberto Gil, and Chico Buarque; her songs have appeared in Brazilian telenovela soundtracks. Tonight’s programme revisits the international career across both sessions — sophisticated room music for the Friday Av. Paulista crowd. Two sessions, separate tickets, fifteen-minute turnover. The Conjunto Nacional 2nd-floor venue, opened February 2019, was curated by Luiz Calainho and Facundo Guerra; 800 m² of intimate listening space.

The Borogodó Friday — the strongest night of the bar’s samba week. Five hours from 10 pm to 3 am, the room on Rua Horácio Lane in Pinheiros at full Friday density: dinner crowds migrating from Mourato Coelho, the post-work contingent that has been building toward this since Monday, visitors discovering that the best samba in São Paulo happens in a plain room with no decoration and no pretence. The bar opens at 10 pm but the music typically starts around 11. Cover around R$30, cash and PIX. Arrive before 10:30 pm for one of the few tables; after that, standing, dancing, the beer from the counter, the music from the roda. Founded 2001, the Borogodó is the gold-standard reference for Pinheiros samba — names like Adriana Moreira, Choro Rasgado, Dona Inah, Cadeira de Balanço have passed through the small stage.

The Friday weekly. Freak Chic is the D-Edge’s house-leaning Friday — one of the four flagship weekly nights (Moving Thursday / Freak Chic Friday / NAVE Saturday / SuperAfter Sunday). Tonight the Time Warp at Neo Química Arena draws much of the city’s electronic crowd to Itaquera, but Freak Chic remains the local Friday alternative for those who want the D-Edge regular format — two pistas plus a Lounge, plus the rooftop terrace. Run by Renato Ratier in Barra Funda since 2003. Tonight’s specific lineup at @dedgesp day-of. Doors midnight, sets running through dawn. 18+, valet R$50, ingressos via Ingresse.
