Tonight legendary English heavy metal band Iron Maiden will perform live in HSBC Arena. Last in Rio de Janeiro performing as part of the 2013 Rock in Rio lineup, the group returns to the city tonight while currently touring the world in support of their sixteenth studio album, The Book of Souls.

Audio Rebel Convida Curated by Chico Dub (Botafogo)
Tonight Audio Rebel in Botafogo will host the forth of seven nights of the debut edition of Audio Rebel Convida. Curarted by cultural producer Chico Dub, the series features performances of contemporary music, free improvisation, sound installations, dance performances and a discussion with Brazilian and international artists. Tonight German musician and sound artist NikoLFO will present the “Hanz Memorial Performance” and German artist, Andrea Lange, aka AA.LL, will present experimental sound collages.

Veneno St. Patrick’s Day Edition (Botafogo)
The Veneno party returns to Casa da Matriz tonight with a special St. Patrick’s Day edition. The venue will feature themed decorations; there will be green beer and DJs Arlei Machado and Suirá will spin the best of Irish rock on the second floor during the night tonight. For over ten years the weekly events, filled with good music and beautiful people, have helped start weekends early in Rio. Tonight will be no exception as DJs Tulio Araujo and Beto Artista will spin the best of rock and pop. Promotions will include buy three get one specials on Heineken and two-for-one specials on caipirinhas and caipivodkas until 1AM.

Girls Night Out (Copacabana)
Tonight Bem Brasil Entretenimento will once again present the Girls Night Out party at the New Mariuzinn Copacabana. Caipirinhas will be free until 12AM and additional promotions will include two-for-one specials on beer, caipirinhas, and Cuba Libre all night long. There will also be a premium open bar for women until 12AM. During the party, DJs Guga Fernandes and Bruno Lima will spin the best of house, deep house, trap, hip hop, funk chic, Latin Rhythms and World Music.

The Salsa and Forró party is back at Lapa’s Leviano bar tonight and that means it’s time to dance. The group Mano a Mano will start things off at 8PM with salsa and merengue on the first floor and singer Then trio Trio XXXXX will perform before Marcelo Mimoso, accompanied by musicians Carlos Cachaça, Nandinho Barros, Chico Oliveira, Chris Mourão and Rodrigo Ramalho, perform the best of forró on the second floor during the night. Additionally, Lucas de Moraes will perform during happy hour and DJ Angolano will spin salsa and DJ Léo Araripe will spin forró during show intervals.
