Arraiá do Circo w/Geraldo Azevedo @ Circo Voador (Lapa) – One of the most anticipated parties of the year is arriving this weekend.
The tenth anniversary of Circo Voador’s legendary June Arraiá, hosted by Geraldo Azevedo, is promising to smash all expectations and provide a party worthy of a decade of wonderful events.
Expect wild decorations, forró, traditional food, dances, games and much more!
Tickets are priced between R$50-R$120 and things will kick off at 10PM.

The Masterplan – Oasis Tribute @ Lord Jim Pub (Ipanema) – What better way to celebrate England’s successful (so far) World Cup campaign than with some classic Britpop from Masterplan, Rio’s premier Oasis tribute band.
They’ll be sure to play all the hits that made us love those two Manc lads in the first place, ‘Wonderwall,’ ‘Supersonic,’ ‘Don’t Look Back in Anger,’ and ‘Champagne Supernova’ among many others.
The Lord Jim Pub prides itself on being the oldest pub in Rio, and it always offers a warm welcome, with Irish, English and Scottish specialities.
The event is free and starts at 10PM.

Candybox @ Copa (Leblon) – Their Carnival edition was so successful that they could not wait for 2019’s Carnival to be able to reunite everyone again.
Candybox takes place in one of the most beautiful and underexplored places of Rio de Janeiro, the Sheraton Hotel, designed by Niemeyer.
The event starts at noon and there is an open bar of Budweiser and Catuaba until 2:30PM. There are DJs throughout the day then at 8PM it’s time for the Candybloco in true Carnival fashion.
Tickets are from R$50 upwards and the event goes on until 4AM!

Pavão Azul (Copacabana)
Pavão Azul is a lively bar in Copacabana, famous for its exceptionally cold beers and prawn pastels. It gets crowded there every night, making every day of the week seem like the weekend.

With chilled out vibes during the week and a selection of top DJs playing shows at the weekends, the newly-opened Yndú Lounge in Ipanema is a great option to kick back. With a selection of drinks and tapas, the bar is quickly becoming one of Leblon’s best watering holes.
