We have the top three picks for this Saturday, and below there is a list of bars and lounges that are always a good option.
DRINKS:
Grande Arraiá @ Biergarten (Centro) – Free entrance all day and the Biergarten are putting on quite a party to see you through the first half of the weekend.
They’re putting on a grand June party for everyone. There will be plenty of food during the day and drinks and DJs into the evening.
The new Biergarten is at Pier Mauá, facing the Guanabara Bay with sensational views and a great set up.
People are encouraged to come in their June costumes though it isn’t required. Expect plenty of traditional activities such as quadrilhas, hot dogs and ‘maça do amors.’
In charge of the music will be the sensational Orquesta de Roda, Bloco Beija Eu and Pedacinho do Ceu.
There will also be DJ sets from Just Mike, Mary Lou, Christian K and Felipe Guga.
The Biergarten will be open from 2PM-2AM and will also be showing the Germany v Sweden match on big screens. Entry is free!

PARTY:
Over.Dose + Back2School @ Teatro Odisséia (Lapa) – The classic edition of OverDose with Back 2 School is back and this time with a lot more drinks!
There will be a BeerBong on Stage, a Beer Battle on the Stage, plus shots of Corote and Catuaba. Expect nothing less than a crazy night.
One floor will be dominated by the Overdose party, playing funk, pop, hip hop and all the hits, while the other floor will be taken up by the Back 2 School Party, playing teen pop, nostalgia and emocore.
Tickets are between R$10-R$30 and the night starts at 11:30PM.

PARTY:
RockBash @ Casa da Matriz (Botafogo) – Rock Monsters Unite!
RockBash is a rock party, with rock of all kinds, going through all the decades, to dance, to rock, to sing. From the two floors of the Casa da Matriz.
On the first floor will be a good rocking party. Classics, 80s, 90s, Indie Rock. From time to time they will mix in some soul, pop rock and hip hop. The DJs are DK (MOB), Grazzia (Rockaway) and Luana Paiva.
On floor two will be pop punk, hardcore, emo, indie and plenty more at the hands of experts DJ Melvin (Sundae Tracks) and DJ Sal (CRUSH!).
It’s going to good music all the time.
Also remember that the Rock party is for those who like to drink!
Apropos of this, there will be a double serving of artisan Czech Premium Lager until midnight.

With chilled out vibes during the week and a selection of top DJs playing shows at the weekends, the newly-opened Yndú Lounge in Ipanema is a great option to kick back. With a selection of drinks and tapas, the bar is quickly becoming one of Leblon’s best watering holes.
