MÚSICA BRASILEIRA:
Quatro Anos de Pede Teresa (Centro) – This evening, group “Pede Teresa” celebrates its fourth anniversary with a great “roda de samba” at Praça Tiradentes, in Centro.
Starting from 4PM, the “roda” will bring a rich repertoire of the Brazilian music genre. Food trucks, clothing and arts’ stalls can also be found at the venue.

Havana (Centro) – Tonight, Gafieira Elite hosts the Havana party in Centro, at 11PM.
DJs Thjago Cortez, Ingrid D’marcelle and Junior Alves will be spinning Caribbean rhythms like reggaeton and dancehall, but also plenty of hip hop and Brazilian funk.

20 Anos do Bar Bukowski (Botafogo) – Considered the best rock bar in Rio’s Zona Sul, Bukowski celebrates tonight its 20th anniversary.
As usual, the night gets started with Bukowski’s “drunk hour” around 6:30 PM, when there will be promotions on drinks and beers. There will also be free tattooing and DJs spinning the best of rock music.

Festa Indiana – Diwali (Barra) – Get ready to experience a little from Indian’s Hindu culture tonight with the Diwali party, in Barra.
Taking place at Yndu Beach Lounge, from 6PM to 11PM, the party celebrates the Indian Festival of Lights, which represents the victory of Light (Good) over Darkness (Evil).
Apart from DJ Marcelo running the dance floor, there will be typical Indian dishes, Bollywood dancing, Indian massage, among many other attractions for free.

Winehouse is a wine bar run by a British expat that has brought an eclectic range of wines to Rio including a mix of fabulous national wines and international favorites. There is also a great selection of nibbles and cheese boards. For those that aren’t too keen on wine, there is plenty of beer and cocktail options too. Happy hour begins at 5PM and finishes at 8PM.

Blue Agave Ipanema is always a great place for Mexican food, drinks and for watching live sport streams and broadcasts. Just around the corner from Posto 9, the bar is also known for its mostly English-speaking staff and the mostly English-speaking crowd which frequents the establishment.
