Baile da Rainha with Mc Marcinho (Centro) – Tonight, starting at 9pm Espaço Bella Vista host the much awaited party. After a whole week of work, you can enjoy some funk, pagode and a cold beer. DJ’s on the night are Caslu (Funk In Rio) and Rafael. Appearances expected from Mc Marcinho, Grupo Intimistas, Grupo Pagodeô, Morango, Sobell and Moisés Santiago. Tickets are R$20,00 and should be bought in advance.

Baile do Chá – Valesca Popozuda and Tati Quebra Barraco (Lapa) – Tonight, Baile do Chá brings to the stage the two biggest names of Brazilian funk, the Queens: Valesca Popozuda and Tati Quebra Barraco at Circo Voador, at 11PM.
The show will also include special appearances from DJ’s Giordanna Forte and Babi and a debut from DJ Ricardo Blank. Baile do Chá promises to shake the city!

Sexta Funk Universitária(Copacabana) – Friday is funk day at New Mariuzinn Copacabana, from 11PM-5AM you can enjoy an open bar all inclusive (until 4AM!). You can find premium Vodka with fruit Juice, national beer Geladíssima, caipirinhas with the fruit of the season: (pineapple, Watermelon, and Lemon) and the traditional Blue Lagoon of New Mariuzinn. Tickets can be bought in advance and start at R$20,00 onwards.

Winehouse (Botafogo)
Winehouse is a wine bar run by a British expat that has brought an eclectic range of wines to Rio including a mix of fabulous national wines and international favorites. There is also a great selection of nibbles and cheese boards. For those that aren’t too keen on wine, there is plenty of beer and cocktail options too. Happy hour begins at 5PM and finishes at 8PM.

Void/House of Food (Botafogo)
Blending culinary, drinks and fashion, the bar/store invites a different chef to prepare a new menu every week. Besides great imported beer labels, it usually serves delicious veggie food and homemade burgers.

Blue Agave (Ipanema)
Blue Agave Ipanema is always a great place for Mexican food, drinks and for watching live sport streams and broadcasts. Just around the corner from Posto 9, the bar is also known for its mostly English-speaking staff and the mostly English-speaking crowd which frequents the establishment. Be sure to check out Blue Agave in Copacabana also for a great night out.
