Paris 6 Bistro in Balneário Camboriú: Neymar family is one of the partners

The family of the striker Neymar Jr. is one of the partners of the bistro chain Paris 6 unit in Balneário Camboriú, in Brazil’s Santa Catarina state.

The restaurant opens its doors to the public next Tuesday (Nov. 29) and is a partnership between the Neymar family, represented by the Brazilian striker’s father, and the former player Emerson Sheik.

The ex-athlete is a long-time friend of chef and entrepreneur Isaak Azar, founder of the chain.

The Paris 6 in Balneário Camboriú is located at Avenida Atlantica, on the premises of the Mercure Hotel.

According to the chain, the location has an area of 400 square meters, including the outdoor deck and the capacity to serve 134 customers.

The menu of the Paris 6 in Balneário Camboriú includes the same dishes that are already part of the menu of the famous chain.

Among them the famous P6 Gnocchi – made of baroa potato and brie cheese filling – and the Paloma Bernardi Grand Gateau – a chocolate Grand Gateau with chopped strawberries, granulated hazelnuts, Nutella syrup, and Belgian chocolate popsicle.

The dessert named after actress Paloma Bernardi is one of many dishes on the menu named after celebrities. Neymar himself has a dish on the menu named after him.

It is the Crepe Neymar, with chocolate filling and ice cream as a side dish.

For a week now, the restaurant in Balneário Camboriú has been holding test dinners for guests under the command of Isaac Azar himself.

The chain creator will stay in the city for the official opening. Scheduled for Dec. 22, the event will take place after the end of the World Cup and should be attended by Neymar Pai.

Azar and Neymar Jr. have been negotiating the possibility of a partnership for a few years.

In 2013 there was even news of a partnership that would take a unit of the bistro chain to Barcelona, the city where Neymar Jr. played for a few years.

The deal, however, never materialized.

The partnership talks were resumed this year, with the participation of former player Emerson Sheik.

He presented Azar with the idea of opening a Paris 6 in the city on the Santa Catarina coast.

Besides Sheik and the Neymar family, businessman Daniel Moral is also part of the partnership.

The Paris 6 in Balneário Camboriú is the 32nd unit of the chain, created in 2006 in São Paulo.

The house is famous for its decoration inspired in traditional Parisian cafés.

Besides, the dishes are named after celebrities, who are easy targets in the houses in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.

The Curitiba unit was opened in April last year and is located at Shopping Crystal in Batel.
