According to CNM, agribusiness positively impacts the Brazilian trade balance and represents 23% of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP).

Agribusiness contributed the most to Mato Grosso do Sul’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth in recent years, generating almost R$19 billion of wealth for the state.

The sector’s importance represents 17.1% of the entire state GDP, which was R$106 billion in the last IBGE survey (2019).
