The association reported that this figure significantly surpasses January’s 2.32 million tons.
It slightly falls below last February’s 7.54 million tons, as per its weekly bulletin derived from ship port schedules.
For corn, February shipments are expected to reach 716,7 thousand tons. Decrease from 3.43M tons exported in January and 1.93M tons shipped in February 2023.
February 2024 soybean meal exports: 1.85M tons, up from 1.75M in January and 1.27M in February last year.
Forecasters anticipate wheat shipments at 715K tons, surpassing January’s 685K and February last year’s 523K.
Brazil exported 2M tons of soybeans, 100.6K tons of corn, 354.6K tons of soybean meal, and 154K tons of wheat.
The projection for February 18–24: soybeans 3.6M tons, soybean meal 558K tons, wheat 245.6K tons; no corn shipments scheduled.
