Latam Airlines plans to launch a direct route from London Heathrow to Lima, Peru, pending government approval.

Starting December 2nd, the airline intends to operate five weekly flights—Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

The Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, assigned to this route, accommodates 30 passengers in Premium Business Class and 270 in Economy Class, with a flight duration of 12 hours.

Davide Ioppolo, the Regional Commercial Director, remarked, “This is a significant achievement for Latam Airlines as we’re the only carrier offering a direct route from the UK to Peru.”
