Audi to produce electric cars in Mexico by 2027

Audi, the German automaker, which has been part of the Volkswagen Group since the 1960s and has been counted among the premium manufacturers since the 2000s, plans to produce electric cars in Mexico by 2027.

"Audi" is thus the third company to announce the production of electric cars in Mexico. The announcement states that an electric variant of the Q5 SUV model produced there will be produced at the plant in Puebla, in the municipality of San José Chiapa.
