Young man dies after being attacked by piranhas in the Paraguay river

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - A 22-year-old young man lost his life after allegedly being attacked by piranhas in the Paraguay River. The Police remind us that it is forbidden to enter the waters of the river.

According to reports, the death was caused by drowning, however, they explain that the aquatic animals attacked him, biting off part of his face.

The victim was taken to the Lambaré hospital, where he died.

The National Police reminds us that swimming in the waters of the Paraguay river is still prohibited.
