RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – In the six-hour gap between the resignation announcement by Justice Minister Sergio Moro and the press conference in the Planalto Palace, the President’s family was abandoned by 86,427 fans.
President Bolsonaro was the most impacted among the clan. At 2:30 PM, 36,296 fans had already abandoned the president’s social media.
At 3:20 PM, the figure had already reached 48,473 and soon after the press conference, the balance was 45,575.
By the end of Bolsonaro’s address, there was a slight rebound with the addition of 2,898 fans to balance the digital defections.
At 8 PM, the result showed that 41,996 profiles no longer wished to follow the content published by the President.
The data were collected by Bites consultancy.
Governors João Doria (SP) and Wilson Witzel (RJ), the President’s political opponents, gained 7,000 and 3,000 fans, respectively, on Friday.
