Wednesday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Lapa Irish Pub is on tonight with rock ‘n roll karaoke. Located under the famous Arcos da Lapa (Lapa Arches), the Lapa Irish Pub sits in the heart of one of Rio’s most lively and music-filled neighborhoods. In the area known for its impromptu samba gatherings and live shows by big name international and Brazilian acts, Lapa Irish Pub rocks its corner spot with live bands and music themed nights. For those aspiring to belt out their own version of rock, the increasingly popular Karaoke Rock night opens the stage every Wednesday.
The bar also has a wide variety of specialty and imported beer which Wexford Irish Cream, Suffolk Strong, Newcastle Brown Ale, Pilsner Urquell, Chimay, and Leffe Blonde among others.

Karaokê Indie is opening up their doors this whole month to celebrate Rock in Rio 2013. Each edition will feature the best hits from specific bands from the festival. Tonight is singalong with hits from Muse, Florence and the Machine, Matchbox Twenty and much much more.
