Monday’s Rio Nightlife Pick – Monday nights have won the acclaim of the public, with a style of samba that makes Lapa shake, step and boogie, when Richas hits traditional locale Carioca da Gema.
Depicting the blocos and styles of the classic Rio samba schools, the band Zeca Pagodinho has an incredible array of brilliant percussionists. This night is truly the definition of Rio samba, with a four hour jam session that unites the powerful impact of song, rhythmic drumming and harmony.
Hosted at Carioca da Gema, one of Lapa’s finest live music venues and spectacular pizzeria, Richas has earned the praise of the public and made Monday nights anything but dull.

Tonight has won the acclaim of the public. A samba in Lapa that shakes the brilliant percussionists, a mixture of the band Zeca Pagodinho, depicting the trials of the blocks of the samba schools.
