Tonight the Botafogo music store, Audio Rebel, will present Cadu Tenorio’s launch of his latest solo work entitled, Vozes. Tenorio is well known for his work with the Brazilian bands Sobre a Máquina, Ceticências, and VICTIM!. Additionally before Tenorio’s show, Orlando Scarpa Neto will present the musical installation, “River View.”

Marina Iris and Pedro Holanda(Lapa)
Singer and guitarist Pedro Holanda will start things off tonight at Lapa’s Carioca da Gema at 8PM. Then, singer Marina Iris will follow at 10PM with her reinterpretations of the works of Assis Valente and Batatinha, among others. Now is a great time to see Iris live, as she is scheduled to release her first album later this year.

The group Chutando o Balde (Kicking the Bucket) will present their unique blend of samba, MPB, chorinho, jazz and bossa nova live beginning at 7:30PM to start things off at Rio Scenarium tonight. Nando do Cavaco and the group Sambistas will follow at 10:30PM, performing the best of classic chorinhos and sambas by Noel, Martinho, Benito, Roberto Ribeiro, Clara Nunes, Dorival, and Moreira da Silva, among others.
