The company’s new CEO revealed internal communications from the previous administration with Biden campaign officials to have them delete tweets and suspend users who criticized him.

Elon Musk made good on his promise and published dozens of emails this Friday through journalist Matt Taibbi that show how top executives from Twitter’s previous administration worked with Joe Biden’s campaign to censor news that would hurt him amid the 2020 presidential election.

Under the hashtag #TwitterFiles (“Twitter Files”), the company’s brand new CEO revealed the entire web of corruption between the upper echelons of the social network and members of Biden’s campaign team to moderate the platform’s content in favor of the Democrat candidate.

Taibbi, the author of Griftopia and current advisor to Musk on Twitter, revealed the compromising emails in a long thread of tweets.

In them, it is shown that Twitter executives were receiving lists of tweets every day from the Biden campaign to be deleted because they were damaging to him.

Twitter, it showed, had entire teams working to comply with the Democrat candidate’s requests.

The Biden campaign also asked Twitter to suspend celebrity accounts that spoke out against him.

The most severe case among those revealed appears to be that of actor @RealJamesWoods, censored at the request of the Democrats after lending his support to Trump.

James Woods lost access to his Twitter account on October 24, 2020, hours after Twitter employees requested Biden’s team to take down his account, along with those of other top profiles.

Although Taibbi blacked out the specific names, the email boxes used are seen as “@twitter.com,” proving that Elon Musk had access to these emails and conversations as they were sent from Twitter’s corporate servers.

By buying the company in October, Elon Musk has the legal resources to make public any information he wishes.

As popular Fox News host, Tucker Carlson said, “Elon Musk didn’t just buy a company, he bought a crime scene as well.”

Elsewhere in the thread, Taibbi shows a conversation between former Chief Legal Officer Vijaya Gadde, who was directly responsible for the censorship policy and who made the decision to suspend Trump, and former Trust and Safety chief Yoel Roth, who tried to side with Musk after the acquisition but was eventually kicked out when the mega-businessman realized he was still censoring tweets behind his back.

In the leaked conversation, Gadde and Roth are discussing what excuse to make to justify the Democratic campaign’s request to censor the explosive news story about Hunter Biden’s laptop, which revealed a network of influence peddling and money laundering by the then-presidential candidate’s family.

This story, originally published on October 14, 2020, by the New York Post, two weeks before the election, was heavily censored on Twitter.

The company went so far as to suspend any account that attempted to post the link, including the @nypost account.

The final decision was to justify the censorship because the news had “hacked material”, which was against the company’s policies.

But this is obviously a lie.

]The information came from Hunter Biden’s laptop, which forgot it in a repair shop for more than a year, so the warranty expired, and the laptop became the property of the repair shop’s owner.

The excuse Gadde and Roth came up with to justify their illegal acts did not convince even other Twitter executives, who admitted in other conversations that it did not sound convincing to them.

Twitter’s former head of communications, Trenton Kennedy, complains in a company chat about the decision.

“I’m having a hard time understanding the policy basis for marking the news as unsafe, and I think the best thing to do would be not to touch anything and wait to understand if the story is the result of hacked material,” he wrote.

For his part, former VP of Communications Brandon Borrman asks whether “we can really be sure that this news story falls under the hacked material policy” but confirms that they complied with Vijaya Gadde’s order: “We are limiting the visibility of related stories on Twitter.”

Finally, VP of Legal Jim Baker, who appears to remain in his position despite the Elon Musk buyout, assured at the time that he agreed to wait to say that the news story was censored because it had hacked material.

“However, at this stage, it is reasonable for us to assume that there may have been hacked material and put up signs that the link is not secure and you should proceed to read with care,” he writes in another message.

Republicans in Congress announced that they would take this evidence and include it in Hunter Biden’s Investigative Committee, which will open in January after new lawmakers take office. Trump regains control of the House of Representatives.

Republican Congressman James Comer, who will lead this committee seeking the impeachment of Joe Biden, was interviewed on Jason Chaffetz’s Fox News program, where he assured that his analysts are processing all this information and that it will be included in the final Congressional report.

In summary, Elon Musk revealed a web of corruption that goes from Biden’s campaign team (now in the White House) to the highest executives of Twitter, who worked together, outside the law, to prevent Trump’s reelection in the 2020 elections.
