Tonight Centro’s Espaço Acústica will host the Pop ‘N’ Roll Roll Cinematográfica 2.0 event. DJs Millah Bass, Felipe Malfoy, Rebbeca Fox and Fernanda Fox will spin pop, eletropop, hits and funk on the first stage, while DJs Wagner Fester and Ian Garcez spin rock and indie rock on the second stage. JP Silva will start things off tonight at 9:30PM at Lapa’s Carioca da Gema and singer Ana Costa will follow at 11:30PM. Costa is known for reinvigorating the sounds of old samba and will perform a lively repertoire, including songs from her 3rd album entitled, Today is the Best Place.

Maria Filó, Empolga às 9 and Cartola de Noel (Centro)
At 8PM, the band Cartola de Noel will get things started again tonight at Rio Scenarium with a performance of authentic samba. The group Empolga às 9 will follow at 11PM with their eclectic repertoire that includes everything from samaba to frevo to maracatu. Finaly beginning at 2:30 AM, the group Maria Filó again will play some of the best forró you can hear any in the city tonight. Their show will include thier reinterpreatations of the works Luiz Gonzaga, Marinês, Dominguinhos and Sivuca, among others.

Tonight it’s time for Leviano Rock Night at Leviano bar in Lapa. On the first floor, bands Licor do Canavial and Johnny’s will play the best of pop and rock, while on the second floor the resident band of the Ploc 80s party, Perdidos na Selva will perform. Additionally, DJs Márlio and Aílton Areas will spin the best of pop rock, electronic and hip hop during the night.
