Gop Tun Festival continues at Mercado Livre Arena Pacaembu for its second and final day. Last night’s Saturday programme brought the stacked international lineup to the renovated arena — Jayda G, Logic1000, Chaos In The CBD, FJAAK, Mad Professor, Moxie, DJ Heartstring, and 1tbsp. The Sunday programme carries fresh sets across the arena’s stages. For anyone who chose D-Edge NAVE or Anjunadeep Open Air yesterday, today is the second chance at Gop Tun. For those who were at Gop Tun last night, today is the deeper cut — the Sunday crowd is smaller, more committed, and the music plays to an audience that chose to return. Sunday Brunch Music at the Blue Note SP runs 10 am to 5 pm — the weekly tradition that transforms the Conjunto Nacional’s second floor into a Sunday morning gathering place. The buffet brunch costs R$116; the music is free (no cover, no minimum). Live musicians play throughout the morning and afternoon — the programme rotates weekly, drawing from the Blue Note’s roster of jazz, MPB, and Brazilian instrumental artists. The Varanda Blue terrace opens with the Av. Paulista view — the best Sunday brunch terrace in the city. No evening programme on Sundays — the Blue Note closes at 5 pm. The Sunday matinée at the Ó do Borogodó is one of the best-kept secrets in São Paulo. From 4 pm to 9 pm — five hours of afternoon samba in natural light, the room on Rua Horácio Lane at its most relaxed, the musicians at their most conversational. The matinée draws a different crowd from the late-night sessions: families, couples, the Sunday afternoon audience that wants the music without the midnight intensity. The repertoire tilts toward the classics — samba de raiz, choro, MPB standards — played at a volume that allows conversation. The energy builds gently: 4 pm is quiet, 5 pm fills, 6–7 pm is the peak, 8 pm is the wind-down. By 9 pm the room empties and the week is over.
